Job Description
The Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer (L3) is responsible for the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle management of the airport's enterprise network and communication infrastructure in a 24×7 operational environment. As the highest technical escalation point (L3), the role ensures the availability, performance, security, and resilience of mission-critical wired and wireless networks supporting airport operations, passenger services, and business applications. The engineer collaborates with airport operations, OEMs, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues, maintain network infrastructure, ensure SLA compliance, and drive continuous service improvements.
Requirements
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure or managed services.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical network environments in airports, transportation hubs, data centres, or large enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in enterprise networking, wireless technologies, network monitoring, infrastructure management, and vendor coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.
- ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), Cisco CCNP Enterprise, or equivalent network certifications are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC) and enterprise network management tools is an advantage.
