Job Description
Role Overview
The Healthcare Vertical Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building the healthcare business unit, and leading strategic sales initiatives. This role combines domain expertise in healthcare, enterprise sales leadership, and business unit ownership, with a focus on AI-powered healthcare solutions, digital health platforms, and clinical workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Business Unit Development
- Define and execute the healthcare vertical strategy, aligned with company growth objectives
- Build and scale the Healthcare Business Unit (BU) including offerings, partnerships, and GTM strategy
- Identify new market opportunities in:
- Hospitals & health systems
- Clinics & private practices
- Healthcare SaaS platforms
- Payers & insurance providers
- Develop solution portfolios (e.g., AI clinical documentation, RCM optimization, patient engagement)
Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Own end-to-end revenue targets for the healthcare vertical
- Drive enterprise sales cycles (lead generation → closure → account expansion)
- Build and manage sales pipeline and forecasting models
- Lead strategic deals including:
- AI-based healthcare products (e.g., clinical documentation tools)
- Custom healthcare software solutions
- Establish pricing strategies and commercial models (SaaS, subscription, enterprise licensing)
Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Define and execute GTM strategies for healthcare products and services
- Position offerings with strong USP and differentiation (AI-driven automation, compliance, interoperability)
- Collaborate with marketing for:
- Thought leadership (whitepapers, webinars)
- Industry events and healthcare conferences
- Develop sales collateral and pitch decks tailored to healthcare stakeholders
Solutioning & Pre-Sales
- Work closely with AI/ML, product, and engineering teams to design solutions
- Lead RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and estimations
- Translate healthcare requirements into technical and business solutions
- Ensure alignment with standards like:
- FHIR / HL7
- HIPAA / GDPR compliance
- Interoperability frameworks
Leadership Competencies

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare, or Business
- MBA or equivalent (preferred)
Experience
- 10–15+ years of experience in:
- Healthcare IT / Digital Health / HealthTech
- Enterprise sales or business development
- Proven track record of:
- Closing large healthcare deals
- Building and scaling business units
- Experience with AI/ML solutions in healthcare is a strong advantage
