PITS is forming a Salesforce Business Unit and seeking to hire an Entrepreneur in Residence to lead the establishment and growth of this unit. If you are passionate about joining this initiative and growing the business in the Salesforce domain, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

Roles and Responsibilities

Technical:

Deep understanding of Salesforce from both a technical and functional standpoint
Familiar with the AppExchange level application building framework and have a background in product design
Design and develop high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code following best practices
Design custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements
Experience in Salesforce administration setup, including managing users, security controls, data, creating roles, profiles, and reports. Experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component, Lightning web component, integration frameworks (Connect Apps, External objects, outbound messaging, etc.), Salesforce design patterns and principals, optimal code guidelines, and governor limits are all essential 
Building lightning-based UI blocks that can be used in both the Lightning and classic UI is also a requirement, and they should have experience with Lightning web components
Experience with REST and SOAP web services, such as Streaming API, Metadata API, Apex REST and SOAP API's, custom APEX REST full Services, and SOAP web services, is necessary
Experience with editors like Mavensmate, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse for force.com, or any other IDE. Salesforce.com setup, configuration, customization, data migration, and deployment of applications to Force are also part of the technical responsibilities.

Business:

Collaborate with Salesforce to establish partnership levels
Coach, guide, and empower the SF development team at PITS India
Demonstrate proficiency in working with senior management to provide entrepreneurial insights, explore emerging technologies and disruptive business models, and identify strategic partnership opportunities
Maintain close relationships with key accounts
Convert functional requirements into technical specifications
Assume project responsibility and foster client connections
Be willing to travel internationally for business engagements
