About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Technical Lead to design and implement secure cloud environments on AWS and Azure, with expertise in DevOps practices and Kubernetes orchestration. The ideal candidate will work independently, liaising directly with customers to deliver tailored solutions. A solid background in Linux, KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) and experience working in open-source environment will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, ensuring optimized orchestration and deployment pipelines.
• Drive end-to-end DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, and environment monitoring.
• Perform system hardening and establish robust security practices to align with industry standards.
• Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide clear, effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
• Manage the virtualization environment, leveraging Linux expertise and KVM for virtualization-based workloads.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architectural designs, implementation guidelines, and operational processes.

Mentor junior team members to build overall team capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Experience in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, with a focus on orchestration, scaling, and management.
• Strong proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Exceptional skills in Linux administration, including server management and troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of KVM for virtualization setup and management.
• Experience in system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and addressing cloud security challenges.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall experience in IT, with at least 4-6 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CKA, etc.).
• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and data protection regulations.
